01Who we are

Solaria Consulting ("we", "us", "our") provides marketing and operational infrastructure services. This policy explains how Solaria handles personal information collected through solariaconsulting.com.

Solaria Consulting is an independent business operating from Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

02What we collect

Solaria Consulting collects only what visitors choose to give us:

• Information submitted through the contact form: name, email address, phone number if provided, and the content of the message.
• Information shared when contacting Solaria directly by email, WhatsApp, or when booking a call.

We do not use advertising trackers, we do not sell data, and we do not build advertising profiles.

03Why we use it

Solaria Consulting uses personal information only to respond to the enquiry, to provide services requested, and to keep records of client work. Solaria does not send marketing emails to people who have only submitted an enquiry, unless they ask to hear from us.

04Legal basis

Where UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data applies, Solaria Consulting processes personal information based on consent given when the form is submitted, and on the necessity of processing to take steps at the request of the individual prior to entering a contract. Where the GDPR applies to visitors in the EU or UK, the same bases apply under Articles 6(1)(a) and 6(1)(b).

05Where it is stored

Solaria Consulting uses the following systems:

• Form submissions are transmitted through a serverless function hosted by Vercel and stored in Notion, our customer record system.
• Email is handled by Google Workspace.
• Calendar bookings are handled by Google Calendar.
• WhatsApp messages are handled by WhatsApp, operated by Meta.

These providers may process data outside the UAE. Solaria relies on their own contractual safeguards for international transfers.

06How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become client work with Solaria Consulting are retained for up to 24 months, then deleted. Client records are retained for the duration of the engagement and for up to 7 years afterwards for business and tax record purposes. Anyone may request earlier deletion.

07Your rights

In relation to personal information held by Solaria Consulting, you have:

• The right to request access to personal information held
• The right to request correction
• The right to request deletion
• The right to withdraw consent
• The right to object to processing

Requests can be made to hello@solariaconsulting.com and will be responded to within 30 days.

Individuals in the UAE may lodge a complaint with the UAE Data Office. Individuals in the EU or UK may lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority.

08Cookies

The Solaria Consulting site stores a single preference in the browser's local storage to remember whether the visitor chose light or dark mode. This is not a tracking cookie, is not shared with anyone, and can be cleared by clearing browser data. No advertising or analytics cookies are used.

09Security

Solaria Consulting takes reasonable technical and organisational measures, including HTTPS on all pages and access-controlled systems. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

10Children

Services from Solaria Consulting are not directed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

11Changes to this policy

Solaria Consulting may update this policy. The revised version is posted here with an updated date.
